An Honor Guard has been requested for the Confirmation Class at Holy Savior on Wednesday April 20th. Bishop Joseph Kopacz will be the celebrant. Mass starts at 6PM. If you can participate in the Honor Guard, please arrive by 5:30 for instructions. Also, we are planning a Sword Presentation Ceremony after mass. Deceased Sir Knight Bill Hetrick’s sword will be past to Ethan McCombs. It would be a great tribute to Brother Bill if all Color Corps members dressed out, and all other 4th Degree members dressed in their tuxedo or dark suit with Social Baldric and sat as a unit.

MS Knights of Columbus Convention is April 22nd–April 24th in Tunica at the Gold Strike Casino Resort. The Assembly submitted forms for Sir Knight of the Year, Family of the Year, Assembly of the Year, and To Be A Patriot Award. These awards will be announced at the State Convention. Fingers crossed!! Chris Halliwell was selected as the Assembly’s Delegate at our March meeting. Thank you Chris for stepping up.

A Color Corps Training section has been scheduled for Thursday evening May 5th from 6:30 – 8:30 at St. Richard. All Color Corps members are requested to attend. Any Sir Knight who is planning to join or just interested in finding out more about Color Corps are welcomed to attend. An Honor Guard has been requested for the Ordination to the Priesthood of Andrew Bowden on May 14th 10:30am at the Cathedral of St. Peter the Apostle. If you plan to participate in the HG, please arrive 45 minutes prior to mass for instructions. Also, in May the assembly will be moving the flagpole at the Clinton Cemetery. We hope to have this project complete prior to our Memorial Day Observance on May 28th where a Ceremony with Color Guard is planned prior to American Flag placement on veteran graves at both the Clinton Cemetery and Cedar Grove.

Our next Assembly meeting will be this coming Monday April 18th 6PM at St. Peter’s.

That’s all for now, be safe.
Vivat Jesus!
